He was incredibly cordial, and I knew that the appellation "Gentleman Jim" was not misplaced. I cannot accept that it's over for Jim and for us as his listeners. I was a teenager at the time of this air check and I was usually listening KYA, KFRC or KDIA, but I got my fill of sports from KSFO. Plus, my father listened to KSFO and I could usually escape it's "old people" sounds, except for when I had to go on a trip and would be forced to listen in the car. All-in-all, I'm glad now that I was "forced" to listen to KSFO. Just hearing these voices again, especially Jim Lange makes me long for "old days". Thanks Jim! Jim McKeever Millbrae, California

Giants in the World Series, Jim Lange on the radio in the morning. I still have some airchecks. They are great memento's but I wish Dino and Jim would get together and do an internet show. I remember Jim Lange on KSFO and I too was a kid that listened to KYA and KFRC but in the morning Jim Lange ruled all. I remember the celebrity softball games at the Cow Palace, thats 75-76, I might even have the program with George Moscone and Jim Lange autographs. All great memories and the music was superb.
